About Mike 

Over the years, Mike has had the privilege of working with numerous artists and has shared the stage and/or recorded with Rick Derringer (featuring Johnny Winter and Johnny Copeland and Edgar Winter ), Joan Osborne "Early Years" (Mercury), Tom Dowd, Rufus Wainwright, Steven Stills and Mick Jones, Carole King, Nena, Jose Chalas (feat. Dave Douglas), Paul Hipp, Max Weinberg and the Uptown Horns, Crispin Cioe, Jon Herington, Eddie van Halen, the Gypsy Kings, Meryl Streep, Peter Yarrow (of Peter, Paul and Mary), Helen Wheels, Albert Bouchard (BOC), Spencer Davis, Mario Rivera, Richie Cannata, Shawn Pelton, Jim Cifelli, Ralph Sutton and Gus Johnson with Kenny Daverne, Soozie Tyrell and the Wild Blue Marlins, Stacy Q., Stacy Wilde, Hunter S. Mike appeared onstage in the hit off-Broadway production of Love Janis, and on HBO Undercover's critically acclaimed documentary "Crank", directed by Eames Yates. He is a founding member of Citizens of Contrary Knowledge who have two independent releases, "You're What you Wish You Are..." and "Contrary Radio," which have been played on hundreds of college radio stations on the USA and in South America and featured in Nickelodeon's hit TV Series, "Zoey 101" and "Drake and Josh". Mike's music has also been licensed by Showtime. His song, "House of Cards" was licensed for "The Tudors" hit television series (featuring Jonathan Rhys-Meyers and Peter O'Toole).

Mike can be heard on many National TV commercials including spots for Taco Bell, Applebee's, Pepsi, General Motors, among others and was also featured in the movie soundtrack for "I am Sam" (Sean Penn).


He has produced movie soundtracks for Frances Bathory's independent short film, "Wannabe", Peter Min's East Village Film Festival Selection, "A Dry Cleaner on Broadway", and cult film producer Richard Haines' "Unsavory Characters" as well as Jennifer Haase's "No More Invitations" CD featuring Rosanne Cash and Steven Kellogg. 


Mike is currently in the studio writing, recording and producing a collection of songs and auditory hallucinations. He is also a member of "Songs in the Attic" - the music of Billy Joel feat. David Clark and currently lives in New York City.
